Be careful when blackening to have the ventilation fan on full blast, or better yet, use outdoors. Use as a dry rub on any protein. Cook at very high temperature in melted butter in cast iron skillet or on BBQ. Pre-salt your meat if desired. This blend has no added salt.

This is a really great blend. Not spicy but has a ton of flavor and a nice balance of herb and spice. Love it on seared flank steak and good on roasted chicken as well. Just about to try it as a base for a brisket marinade. ~ posted 2/26/2014
