Events/Classes

Join us at Local Spicery in Marysville and Tiburon for special cooking events designed to promote fun and healthy eating, develop basic cooking skills, and expand your comfort level in the kitchen!

All Marysville events take place upstairs in our newly renovated historic gold-rush-era building, using our new home-style demonstration kitchen. Note that our building does not have an elevator, and the staircase was designed in 1911.

Tiburon events take place in our lovely Victorian store on Historic Ark Row before or after store hours.

Demonstrations are instructor driven with group discussion and oftentimes sampling. Classes are low key and hands on ~ bring your own chef’s knife, cutting board, and apron!  We encourage curiosity, experimenting, and playing with food.
