Louisiana Blackening Spice

Be careful when blackening to have the ventilation fan on full blast, or better yet, use outdoors. Use as a dry rub on any protein. Cook at very high temperature in melted butter in cast iron skillet or on BBQ. Pre-salt your meat if desired. This blend has no added salt.

Berbere is amazing rubbed into leg of lamb. Friends have heaped praise from the first bite! I’ve also used it on vegetables. I bought my jar at the Farmer’s Market a while back, and I’m so glad you guys are local for my refills! This one would be very hard to live without!
