Canning with a Pro ~ Wednesday, the 3rd of July 2019, 6-8pm


Interested in canning? Learn to can like a professional in a hands-on setting in Local Spicery’s home-style demonstration kitchen. Local lifetime canner who has trained as a master canner, Renee Harvey of KT Farm and Produce, will lead this class, sharing her coveted recipe for fruit jam. A variety of spices will be available for you to add your own creativity.  Bring your favorite chef knife, cutting board, apron, and questions to class, and be prepared to participate in the entire process.

Each participant will leave the class with two small jars of jam.

NOTE: Materials fee of $10 per person (in addition to class fee) will be collected at the start of the class.

Limited to 12 participants. Must be at least 14 years old to participate.
