Named for its resemblance to gunpowder, this tea is withered, steamed and rolled before being dried. Gunpowder Green Tea was easier to transport without damaging the tea leaves, making it popular among sailors and colonists.
Gunpowder Green Tea dates back to the Tang Dynasty in China (618-907). It is commonly found as the base for the traditional North American mint tea found at social gatherings. No flavors added ~ Just pure Gunpowder Green Tea.

A twist on the classic breakfast tea, the longer Cú Chulainn steeps, the more complex it will grow. As the black teas deepen and the tannins grow sharper, so too will the spice of chicory and the sweetness of mint. No aromatic oils. Assam Black Tea
$15.00 – $16.00Assam Tea is grown in lower elevations than most teas in the famed Assam Region in Northeastern India. Only the flowery leaf from the very tip of the branch is harvested to deliver the highest graded quality possible.
Our Assam Tea is hand harvested in May and June to allow the tea leaves to develop golden-colored tips that produce a sweeter, spicy and malty flavor. No aromatic oils. Just pure Assam Black Tea.
Lavender
$13.00 – $14.00The name Lavender, it is speculated, comes from the French “lavandre” and the Latin “lavare,” “to wash,” from its history of usage to freshen garments. Lavender has a pleasantly floral and astringent flavor.
Bright blue flower pleasing to the eye & to the palate. Member of the Mint family, closely related to Rosemary. Used as a sleep-aid, anti-anxiety supplement, and also believed to aid with spasms that cause headaches. No caffeine ~ No aromatic oils. Just pure Lavender.
Rooibos, Green
$15.00 – $16.00Grassy, mellow, and sweet. An unfermented version of Red Rooibos, making it less sweet and higher in anti-oxidants.
In 18th century South Africa, Green Rooibos was harvested in the mountains & brought home on donkeys. The Dutch substituted it for expensive black tea. Green Rooibos is original style of the tisane. No caffeine ~ No flavors added. Just the traditional flavor of the South African mountains.
