Mulled Wine or Cider

MULLED WINE

Ingredients
1 750ml bottle red wine
¼ C brandy
¼ C sugar
½ jar Mulling Spices
Optional: 1 Clementine, sliced
Preparation
Add all ingredients to heavy
saucepan. Heat on low,
stirring occasionally, until
simmering. Do NOT allow to
boil. Remove from heat;
taste and add sugar if
needed. Strain spices as serving.

 

MULLED CIDER

Ingredients
1 gallon apple juice
1 jar Mulling Spices
Optional: ½ C bourbon or
brandy
Preparation
Add apple juice and spices
to heavy saucepan. Heat on
low, stirring occasionally,
until simmering. Let simmer,
tasting occasionally, until
spice is at the desired
strength. If using alcohol,
add just before serving.

Strain spices as serving.
