Our French Vinaigrette Dressing is authentically based on shallots, milled mustard seed, and French herbs. Also makes a wonderful marinade for asparagus, broccoli, or green beans. Bon appetit!

I make my salad dressings in a single batch rather than following the recipe given by Local Spicery. I use about 2TBL olive oil and 2TBL vinegar (your choice – this spice has worked really well with red wine and balsamic but I’m sure would be delicious with your favorite) and 1/4 tsp of the Medici Italian Seasoning, not reconstituted. It is delicious. My husband loves it and when I serve it to company they all ask me where I got the salad dressing. It takes about two minutes to whip this up and it is delicious!
