Young Hyson Green Tea
$12.00 – $13.00Young Hyson Green Tea, from the Chinese words “Flourishing Spring,” is picked from high altitudes in Eastern China before the rainy season in order to sustain the sunniest flavors of spring.
This tea is comprised of young leaves, wok-fired before being hand-rolled and twisted in order to prevent oxidation. It was a favorite in colonial America, and is rumored to be the first tea ordered by George Washington after becoming President. No flavors added ~ Just pure Young Hyson Green Tea.
Rooibos, Green
$15.00 – $16.00Grassy, mellow, and sweet. An unfermented version of Red Rooibos, making it less sweet and higher in anti-oxidants.
In 18th century South Africa, Green Rooibos was harvested in the mountains & brought home on donkeys. The Dutch substituted it for expensive black tea. Green Rooibos is original style of the tisane. No caffeine ~ No flavors added. Just the traditional flavor of the South African mountains.
