Alaea Hawaiian Sea Salt is the traditional ceremonial salt used to purify and bless tools, homes, temples and canoes. The salt is enriched during the harvesting process with iron oxide from Alaea, natural volcanic baked red clay.
With this small/medium grain salt, add a mellow salt flavor to roasting or grilling or use for finishing. This Sea Salt is the traditional and authentic seasoning for native Hawaiian Kalua Pig, Hawaiian Jerky, and Poke.
