Oolong Tea

Local Spicery’s Oolong tea, from the Wuyi Mountains in Fujian, China, is harvested in the late spring, sun-wilted, bruised, twisted into strands, partially oxidized, and air-dried and fired to obtain the traditional rich, smoky flavor that causes many people to place Oolong between the spectrum of green and black tea.

Rooibos, Green

In 18th century South Africa, Green Rooibos was harvested in the mountains & brought home on donkeys. The Dutch substituted it for expensive black tea. Green Rooibos is original style of the tisane. No caffeine ~ No flavors added. Just the traditional flavor of the South African mountains.
Assam Black Tea
$13.00 – $16.00Assam Tea is grown in lower elevations than most teas in the famed Assam Region in Northeastern India. Only the flowery leaf from the very tip of the branch is harvested to deliver the highest graded quality possible.
Our Assam Tea is hand harvested in May and June to allow the tea leaves to develop golden-colored tips that produce a sweeter, spicy and malty flavor. No aromatic oils. Just pure Assam Black Tea.
