Our take on the traditional Montreal deli rub that surprises with the flavor of Dill, popular in delis since the early 1900s. Rub on meats before grilling or pan fry seasoned flank steak w/mushrooms & onions to make Montreal Steak Sandwich.
Hand blended in small batches with: paprika, sea salt, black pepper, garlic, Chiles, coriander and, of course, dill seed.

Louisiana Blackening Spice

Be careful when blackening to have the ventilation fan on full blast, or better yet, use outdoors. Use as a dry rub on any protein. Perfect for roasted game hens or egg dishes. To make a simple balsamic vinaigrette, mix 2T Bonnes Herbes with 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar & 1/3 cup of olive oil.

Axiote Blend

Rub with lime on fish, chicken, beef or sweet potatoes. Marinate with paste: 2-3T Axiote & 2T cider vinegar (or sour orange, Meyer lemon juice, lime juice, or California Balsamic Sweet Heat vinegar), and an optional splash of olive oil.
